Our board members have established a consistent track record for successful growth of technology companies at a variety of stages and look to bring those same successes to Nimaya.
Michael J. Del Rosso, Chairman
Mr. Del Rosso is President, CEO and Chairman of Nimaya. He has 30 years of operations and design experience in the software and IT industries; combining an extensive technical background fused with a strong business sense and experience that spans multiple disciplines. He has demonstrated leadership and achievements in the strategic planning, rapid and continuous growth, and management of multi-million dollar, multinational business operations.
He is also the founder and Chairman of Acuity TSI, a technology and management consultant company; an Advising Partner at Capital Trust Ventures, a growth-stage venture capital firm for information technology companies; and Chairman of the IEEE-USA Critical Infrastructure Protection Committee (CIPC).
Previously Mr. Del Rosso was Chief Technology Officer at three public companies: Quantum Corporation, Legato Systems, Inc., and OTG Software, Inc. The latter two are now part of EMC. He was founding CTO of iDEFENSE (acquired by VeriSign) and has held executive management positions at VII, Inc. He has also served on the board of directors of NFR Security, Inc. (acquired by Check Point Software). For 15 years prior to this he led a successful consulting company providing expertise in engineering design, strategic planning, product management and marketing to corporations such as IBM, Control Data, Cheyenne Software, Secure Computing Corporation and Northern Telecom. He is a 2006 Lincoln Fellow of The Claremont Institute and senior member of the Institute for Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE).
Tim Meyers
Mr. Meyers is a Managing Partner of Capital Trust Ventures. He has over 20 years of investing experience. Prior to founding CTV Tim served as a General Partner at Updata Partners where he co-founded their first institutional venture fund in 2000. While with Updata he managed 11 investments and raised over $100 million. Prior to joining Updata Partners, Mr. Meyers served as President of The Morino Group, where he managed a $200 million portfolio, including direct investments, venture funds, hedge funds, and direct equity investments. From 1987-1993, he was CFO of The Brandon Company where he structured numerous deals with total transaction volume of over $250 million. Prior to joining The Brandon Company, Mr. Meyers was a CPA with Deloitte, Haskins & Sells (now Deloitte & Touche). He has been Co-Chair of the selection and program committees for the last several Mid-Atlantic Venture Association Fairs and is the Investment Committee Chair for George Mason’s endowment. He also serves on the boards of multiple privately held companies.
Grant Wagner
Grant Wagner is President and CEO of Formatta Corporation, a leading provider of e-form software solutions that enable businesses and government to securely capture and transfer electronic data using a familiar interface—a form.
Mr. Wagner has over fifteen years of executive leadership roles in global software companies and has repeatedly demonstrated his skills in building and growing highly effective direct and channel sales organizations nationally and internationally.
Previously he was Senior Vice President for Worldwide Sales at New Technology Management, Inc. (NTMI), a federal government systems integrator specializing in Dept of Homeland Security (DHS) and Department of Defense (DoD) security solutions; Senior Vice President of Software Sales at Integic, Inc., a government systems integrator and software vendor acquired by Northrop Grumman Corp.; and a Managing Director at Corstone Capital Corporation, a private merchant banking and services group. He was also Executive Vice President for Worldwide Sales at OTG Software, Inc., now part of EMC. At OTG he built a global sales organization of over 100 people, developed an extensive channel (VAR, distributor, OEM, systems integrators and direct sales) which was essential to OTG’s sales growth, and helped take the company public. Prior to OTG, Grant served for nine years in numerous sales and executive management positions at Computer Associates International, Inc.
In addition to serving as a member of the board of directors of Nimaya, Inc., he serves as advisor to several private technology companies in the northern Virginia business community, and is a venture partner at Acuity TSI.
